Acupuncture - a long history

Acupuncture Treatment & Common Concerns

Your first visit to our Vancouver acupuncture clinic may take some getting used to. The experience often is different than visits to most other healthcare practitioners. Initially, your acupuncturist might ask you a series of questions and take your pulse with three of his fingers on each of your wrists. he might palpate your abdomen and other points and pathways on your body, and might also ask to look at both the surface and underside of your tongue.

Once this and other information is collected, your acupuncturist will try to make an assessment of your symptoms so a treatment regime can be tailored to your specific condition.
