Important Note: Do not confuse this treatment with Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS). A lot of people have tried IMS and have found it to be very painful. This is not painful and does not involve large needles.
If you need relief from Piriformis Syndrome (Sciatica), Plantar Fasciitis, Shin Splints, low back pain, whiplash, Computer Neck or headaches? You need to try this treatment. It is extremely effective and it works FAST!!
Here is what Dr. Yelizerov’s clients have to say:
“I am a professional figure skater with 18 years of experience. Three years ago I suffered an ankle injury that persisted for a long period of time and seriously limited my ability to compete. I tried physiotherapy and chiropractics, but had only minimal improvement. After two sessions, my ankle had a noticeable improvement. After five sessions the improvement was dramatic, and I was able to return to my previous level of intense training and competition. That year I went on to compete in the top category at Canadian Nationals, and placed very highly”.

"I was about to cancel my business trip to Australia (20+ hours flight) because I began to feel low back pain. One session of the treatment made my trip possible. The completed program kept me free of any pain while I continued to do the activities I had done before.”

About Dr. Yelizarov.
Dr. Nikolay Yelizarov is a Medical Doctor from Russia. He started practicing in 1980 and in 1987 he became a registered acupuncturist. He has been fine tuning this treatment for the last 20 years and with decades of experience he has created an extremely powerful treatment.
Why standard medical treatments do not work.
The pain in a Muscle Strain Injury (MSI) appears because of the entrapment of pain receptors inside or between swollen and inflamed muscles. The usual solution for the problem is painkillers, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatory and rest. Unfortunately each of them has a limited ability to heal the injury. Painkillers are designed to comfort a patient only. Muscle relaxants are suitable only when muscle spasms are present. In fact, muscle spasms aren’t always associated with muscle strain. Rest provides short term relief and the pain and dysfunction returns when you return to moving that muscle.
Your injury and how it works.
Every MSI or Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) produces damaged cells. These cells release intracellular substances: kinins, histamine, prostaglandins and other chemicals. The intracellular chemicals induce edema, inflammation and pain.
The inflammation process is a part of natural healing and efficient if the damage is not overwhelming or repetitive. Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) compromise the healing. Substantial injury requires more time for recovery, up to a few months. This is not an option for many patients.
The rehabilitation process goes slowly because of compromised venous drainage and insufficient waste product removal. Therefore lymph and blood flow must be restored to complete the recovery. Usually every MSI or RSI is a complicated injury involving other structures attached to the muscle directly or indirectly. Electrical intramuscular stimulation is designed to work on a muscle/nerve/tendon unit to restore the blood/lymph circulation and accelerate the healing process.
Treatment:
The treatment is an electrical stimulation of a muscle by using 2 thin acupuncture needles. The needles are gently put in with an acupuncture tapper and then they are hooked up to a muscle stimulator. You will then feel gentle rhythmic contractions. This movement restores lymph and blood circulation and therefore accelerates healing process of the injured muscle.
This process is then repeated on all the injured muscle tissues.
Dr. Yelizarov's technique is unique! Because of the knowledge and skills required to stimulate the lower motor neurons. Average low back pain requires 5-6 sessions of 45-50 minutes each.
This type of treatment can reduce the standard recovery time of low back pain from 43-44 days to 14-16 days. There are no long-term negative effects and no activity or work restriction. Follow up appointments are suggested in 3, 6 and 12 months after a course of treatments.
