Our Massage Services

Sports Massage

First developed for athletes, sports massage therapy is now used by people training for marathons, the Vancouver Sun Run, skiing or even a round of golf. If you want to help keep or improve your range of motion, flexibility and overall muscle health, or if you’re planning on training for a specific event, please consider adding sports massage to your training program. Anyone of our 25+ Vancouver massage therapists can help you design and implement a treatment program to fit your specific needs

Pregnancy Massage

When you’re pregnant and your body is changing weekly, we recommend that you consult with one of our downtown Vancouver massage therapist about pregnancy massage. This type of treatment helps with common conditions associated with pregnancy like sciatica, low back pain and headaches. “When my wife was pregnant, we planned regular appointments to address her changing needs. If you’re pregnant or know of someone who is, please have them look into the benefits of pregnancy massage therapy.” – Mark Bentz, RMT

Deep Tissue Massage

There is nothing more satisfying than a properly administered deep tissue massage. When your massage therapist gets deep into a knot and works out the pain, it’s a very satisfying experience. This type of treatment is extremely effective for chronic pain, tight muscles, and those hard to relieve knots in the back. If you sit at the computer or exercise a lot you will greatly benefit from this type of treatment.

Myofascial Release Technique

Fascia is the connective tissue that runs throughout your body. It covers muscles, bones, tendons, nerves, etc. Essential for a healthy operating body, myofascial release ensures adhesions and chronic tight muscles are released. We have several RMT’s who are trained specifically in the area of Myofascial Release Technique.

Sciatica Treatment

Sciatica symptoms include, but are not limited to, pain in the low back, buttocks and down the back of the leg. Numbness and tingling are also common symptoms and they follow the same pathway. Weakness can develop anywhere along this pathway because there is an interruption in the sciatic nerve transmission. Read more about sciatica by Mike Dixon, RMT

Frozen Shoulder Treatment

Several of our RMT’s have training specifically related to treatment frozen shoulders. Read Mike Dixon’s article about frozen shoulder treatment.

Manual Lymph Drainage

You have lymph nodes all over your body. These lymph nodes filter blood, and if blocked or restricted can cause a lot of problems. For those who’ve had lymph nodes removed (eg. Mastectomy) Manual lymph drainage massage is essential to keep the body’s filtration system working

Electra Health is top-notch, especially thanks to chiropractor David De Camillis. He expertly resolved my knee pain in 2019 and now tackles my back issues with skill. A true professional, highly recommended!

I've been to this place many times. But have to say Tanya s. Is the best. If you have a legit pain, go to Tanya and she will work it out of you... it might hurt a bit, but the results are amazing.
