Reactive Sport Therapy
Monique Charbonneau BHK CAT (C) Certified Athletic Therapist

What is Athletic Therapy?
Athletic Therapy SPECIALIZES in the assessment, management, rehabilitation, and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. A Certified Athletic Therapist applies a comprehensive treatment plan and utilizes innovative rehabilitative techniques to promote optimal recovery time. In collaboration with all members of the health-care team, it is an essential part of the overall care of the patient.
Reactive Sport Therapy reactivates and encourages a healthy and active lifestyle. The promotion of the benefits of Athletic Therapy is maintained through a proactive approach to treatment, by providing therapeutic modalities, exercise prescription (Active Rehab) and preventative rehabilitation to our patients. (Through education, you will leave with an understanding of why the injury occured and how to prevent it from happening again)
Treat the CAUSE of the injury, NOT the symptoms
