Jeff made the decision to become a Registered Clinical Counsellor after working in the field of Human Resources for ten years. As he pursued his Masters Degree, his wife had their first child and Jeff began working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant. After completing his Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Jeff began working at Simon Fraser University as a Clinical Counsellor and Instructor. He then moved closer to home and served the same roles at Capilano University. Throughout those years, Jeff also maintained a private practice.

Jeff works with individual clients as well as couples. While continually immersed in professional development and training, Jeff spends his free time playing hockey and golf, travelling, reading, as well as spending time with his family.

Ongoing therapy sessions will be guided by your needs and goals. Jeff will continually check in with you to ensure that together you are both heading in the right direction. Often times, homework and/or journaling will be a vital component of the overall process of therapy.

About Jeff’s work

I help people who are feeling stuck and/or overwhelmed. The nature of their “stuckness” might show up in a myriad of different ways (depression, anxiety, etc.), but sometimes these are just symptoms, not the root cause. I work with clients to make the type of change necessary to produce lasting results. For some it is fairly straight forward counselling, while for others it may require deeper therapy. At the end of the day I work with all of my clients in a way that fits their needs and addresses their goals.
